US investors should put money into India and Japan, says CIO

STORY: "The U.S. is a great spot to be," said Landsberg. "But I look at places like India where the growth rates are probably 2 to 3 times what we are."

"I think Japan's now kind of on a little bit of a revival as well," he added.

Landsberg said investors could "lower some risk" in foreign markets and that "some valuations overseas may not be as pricey" as they are in the United States.

"Typically, we're going to like ETFs simply because of the ability to own some things that are on the local markets that you can't necessarily buy yourself," he added. "So India is a good example. There's not many U.S.-traded individual stocks, but there's four or five ETFs that we're aware of."
