An adorable male red-tailed monkey was settling in well after being born at the Philadelphia Zoo in Pennsylvania in early August, the zoo announced on September 12.

“Keepers say Khari is starting to taste solid foods and spending more time off mom with each passing day,” the zoo said.

The young primate was growing fast, they added, and was already spending time away from his mother, Lulu.

This video shows Khari clinging to Lulu on August 25, about two weeks after his birth on August 8, according to the zoo.
