'A Severe And Dangerous Escalation': Israel Says Iran Has Launched Direct Attack

The Israel Defense Forces said overnight on April 13-14 that Iran had “launched a direct attack from Iranian soil towards the state of Israel.”

IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said Israel was closely monitoring Iranian drones that were heading towards the country.

“This is a severe and dangerous escalation. Our defensive and offensive capabilities are the highest level of readiness ahead of this large-scale attack from Iran,” Hagari said.

Iranian semi-official media reported that Iran launched drones and missiles towards Israel on April 13 and 14.
