Extensive flooding hit Asheville, North Carolina, on September 28 and 29, with satellite imagery showing the impacts from Hurricane Helene.

The images, from Planet Labs, show flooding in the River Arts District and Biltmore Village.

At least 190 people died because of the storm, according to US media.
