Crowds of canines turned out in creative costumes for the 34th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade in New York City’s East Village neighborhood on Saturday, October 19.

Footage filmed by Josh Linam shows owners and their pups dressed up and marching along the parade’s route on Avenue A on Saturday afternoon.

“It was my second time at this and it was very crowded,” Linam told Storyful. “The police eventually gave up on crowd control and spectators flooded onto both sides of the street and sat inside the barriers along the parade route,” he added.
