Philadelphia Police Retreat as Demonstrators Hurl Objects at Them

Demonstrators threw objects at police as they marched on the streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on October 27, video shows.

Jordan Chariton livestreamed unrest in the city on October 27 on his YouTube Channel, Status Coup, as protesters and looters took to the streets one day after the fatal police shooting of Walter Wallace Jr. In this clip, a group of police officers retreat as demonstrators march forward while throwing objects at the police.

A few minutes later, the police turn back and clash with protesters, the livestream goes on to show.

The shooting of Wallace sparked protests across the city, with looting also reported.
