Fire crews battled a fire at a hotel in Odesa, Ukraine, on Monday morning, September 25, after the city’s governor said Russia attacked the city with drones and two types of missiles.

“A fire broke out in a non-residential high-rise in the city of Odesa. It was quickly eliminated,” Oleg Kiper said in a statement.

Footage released by Ukraine’s State Emergency Service showed fire crews dousing the heavily burned and damaged hotel building with water.

According to the Southern Defence Forces, the hotel had not been functioning for several years and no people were injured there.

One woman was injured after blast waves broke glass in several houses in the city, the SJTF said.
