Officers with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) rescued a woman who had gotten trapped under a pier in Brooklyn on the morning of Tuesday, October 3, the NYPD said.

Footage released by the police shows one of the officers holding on to the woman’s hand from the edge of the pier in the Red Hook neighborhood. Officers helped get the woman, whose age was reported as 20 by local media, onto a boat to complete the rescue, the footage shows.

The woman was hospitalized in stable condition, according to local media.
