Low pressure system to bring heavy rain

Marylanders should prepare for the worst-case scenario as a precaution. Meteorologist Dalencia Jenkins explains how steady rain will spread throughout the state by Saturday morning and last through most of the day. The latest data as of Thursday indicated the heaviest rain will be along the coast, closer to the center of the low-pressure system moving up the coast. So, that would mean rain Saturday night and into Sunday lasting longer in Baltimore. If the low-pressure system actually stays farther off the coast, that would mean less rain for the immediate Baltimore metro area.
