Five Baltimore City high school students were surprised Monday with a full scholarship to college. McDaniel College and the CollegeBound Foundation surprised the students with the news at their schools. The four other recipients include Envy Lemon, a student at Western High School; Evelyn Blackman and Autumn Macklin, students at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute; and Adrianna Coe, a student at Green Street Academy. The scholarships are valued at more than $180,000 each. McDaniel has partnered with the CollegeBound Foundation since 2008 to provide full-tuition scholarships to city high school students.
