The Metropolitan Police said “a man with a sword” was arrested in the Hainault area of Ilford, east London, on April 30, after reports that several people had been stabbed.

Footage filmed by a local resident who wished to remain anonymous shows a police presence on a street near Hainault Underground Station.

The source told Storyful one person was stabbed on Laing Close before the suspect approached the station. Local media also reported a stabbing on Laing Close.
