A police dog helped officers chase and control an armed suspect involved in a domestic violence incident in Madison, Wisconsin, on May 6, according to a local news outlet.

Bryan Hernandez filmed a video that shows two police officers chasing a man, who was running, before a dog from their K-9 unit speeds up to stop the suspect.

Madison Police told local media the man pulled out a handgun and pointed it at himself whilst running away from the police, before being arrested. The man will face several possible felony charges related to a domestic violence incident, the police said. Credit: Bryan Hernandez via Storyful
