Mineral Fire Burns Over 14,000 Acres in California's Fresno County

A wildfire burning in California’s Fresno County grew to more than 14,000 acres on July 15 as firefighters battled to contain the blaze.

The fire broke out west of Coalinga on July 13 and forced evacuations of nearby residents as the fire grew in acreage.
