Police used a water cannon to disperse demonstrators in Tel Aviv, Israel, as protests continued into the night on Monday, March 27.

On Monday evening, Haaretz reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would delay his government’s judicial reform plans to the end of April and that he called it “the right thing to do.”

On Sunday, the prime minister fired Defense Minister Yoav Gallant over the controversial reforms, a day after Gallant had called for legislation regarding the government’s judicial overhaul to be paused, the Times of Israel reported.
