A third-grader in Wichita, Kansas, starred in her very own homemade April Fools’ Day news report as part of a school assignment she received while learning online due to the coronavirus lockdown in the state.

In the report, produced with help from her father, Kevin, Norah Ferstl sought out the Loch Ness Monster in her backyard.

Norah’s report includes exciting intro music, flashy graphics of the monster, and an interview with an eyewitness, her father, who said the monster shot laser beams out of its eyes!

The report was even completed with a shot of Norah pretending to talk to a co-anchor as the outro music played, as is often seen in news bulletins. Credit: Kevin Ferstl via Storyful
