A tornado touched down in Gaylord, Michigan, on Friday, May 20, damaging “multiple homes and businesses,” vehicles, trees, and power lines, according to
Michigan State Police (
MSP).Emergency crews were responding to the scene and people were advised to avoid the Gaylord area,
MSP said.This footage, captured by Mike Young, shows damage to what he said was a “brand new truck” belonging to his co-worker.According to Young, the windows of the truck were blown out by the force of the tornado, and pieces of a roof from a store in Gaylord were found on the back seat.
