Students Evacuated After Bolton Dorms Catch Fire

Students at Bolton University, in England’s Greater Manchester area, were evacuated from their dormitories in Bradshawgate on Friday, November 15, after a large fire broke out in one of the buildings.

Local media said the fire was first reported at 8.50 pm. No injuries have been reported.

The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service tweeted at 9.35 pm local time that they were at the scene.

Roughly 30 minutes later, the department reported there were 20 fire engines at the scene and fire crews were working to evacuate the building.
