Spanish authorities said they seized 25 tons of hashish hidden in a truck coming from Morocco and bound for France, marking the largest road seizure of the drug since 2015.

According to Ministry of Interior, a Guardia Civil K9 unit flagged the truck as suspicious, leading to an inspection of the vehicle.

“Inside the trailer, the agents found 22 wooden boxes inside which a large number of bales of hashish were hidden,” the ministry said.
