Police breached the barriers around a protest encampment at UCLA in the early hours of May 2 and began making arrests, according to local reports and people at the scene.

Footage here was recorded by Anthony Cabassa, who said people were being detained and that police were “tearing down makeshift walls.”

Police arrived after an unlawful assembly was declared, local media reported.
