And so a lot of people are finding buying a brand-new house is much tougher and renting it is easier."

"To a great extent, the streaming wars are kind of over, I think Netflix has kind of won it. And, yes, you're right... this shakeout has been happening in a pretty small way. I think it's going to be happening in a much more aggressive way. We're already seeing talks of consolidation whether it's with Paramount (<a data-i13n="cpos:3;pos:1" href="https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/PARA?p=PARA&.tsrc=fin-srch">PARA</a>) or the smaller players, so that obviously is going to play out. 「映岸」周邊街舖均為一些舊式回收廠，或車房為主，偶然會有一些回收紙品或回收電器擺放在路邊，頗影響市容。這些回收廠晚上都會關門，所以入夜後的「通州街」很寂靜，有夜歸需要的準買家，最好在晚上前往現場視察，看看是否接受周邊環境。

另外，雖則「映岸」位處舊區，但離多個港鐵站仍有一定距離，前往南昌站、深水埗站都要約6至8分鐘步距，形成半天吊格局。如果你棄搭港鐵，選擇乘坐巴士或小巴，步行至「荔枝角道」則有較多選擇，西往蘇屋、美孚等路線；東往旺角、尖沙咀、黃埔等。另外附近「北河街市政大樓」亦被很多人視為價錢最平的街市之一，純粹從生活角度看，「映岸」算不過不失。

景觀方面，「映岸」西南方，雖然有基座墊高可避過橋底景色，剛好可高於前方天橋，但天橋上方卻是車輛風馳電掣的「西九龍公路」，除了塵土飛揚之外，車聲噪音也會對低層住戶有影響。高層單位則可透過公路望前方「通州街公園」，遠眺南昌站及昂船洲海景，但由於聲音會向上走，故仍難逃公路噪音影響。

假如選擇西南方以外單位，例如選擇樓盤向東北面，理應可望到深水埗鬧市景，高層能遠眺獅子山景色，但也因為「映岸」跟「愛海頌」2座及「海珀」方向距離很近，所以就算望到鬧市景，但打側也少不免受樓景阻擋；以至選擇樓盤東南方，亦會被轉租為售的「West Park」以及「愛海頌」3座阻擋。
